8.3 - STUDENT PERFORMANCE THAT COULD RESULT IN DISMISSAL

Under some circumstances, the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences may recommend dismissal of a student from the program even though the student has maintained a 3.00 grade point. Grounds for dismissal include, but are not limited to: 1) failure to make timely progress toward completion of the degree, 2) failure to pass the qualifying or comprehensive examination in two attempts, or 3) failure to uphold professional standards and ethics.
