This Student Handbook is intended to provide you with important information about your program of study, policies, guidelines, and responsibilities as a postprofessional student in the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), College of Allied Health (CAH), Department of Rehabilitation Sciences (RS) Doctor of Science (DSc) degree program. This handbook accompanies the OUHSC Student Handbook and the OUHSC Allied Health Student Handbook and is not intended as an exclusive reference manual for all University of Department policies and procedures. The information contained in this handbook is current at the time of publication and may change from time to time by action of the DSc faculty. The DSc faculty make every effort to ensure that the policies published in the Student Handbook are updated as necessary. However, it is the responsibility of the student to discern the most current version of any particular policy. Questions concerning policies should be directed to the Director of the DSc program or the Office of Academic & Student Affairs.
Please review this handbook thoroughly. If you do not understand any of the contents, speak with your DSc faculty advisor for clarification. Please remember how to locate this handbook and other University and Departmental official publications because you will need to refer to them during your participation in the Doctor of Science degree program.
